Umri sahihi wa kubeba mimba na kuwa na mtoto


MAISHA yalivyo sasa si sawa na yalivyokuwa miongo kadhaa iliyopita. Wakati huo wanawake waliingia kwenye ndoa katika umri mdogo (mara nyingi usiozidi miaka 25) na kuchukua jukumu la kuzaa na kulea kama ndilo la kwanza. Wasichana na wanawake walipenda jukumu la kuwa mama kwenye familia na walitimiza jukumu hilo kwa utayari.


Katika miaka ya hivi karibuni, wanawake wengi wamejikita katika masomo, na kujiendeleza kwa muda mrefu. Huko, wanaelekeza nguvu zao nyingi katika kupata shahada zaidi ya mbili na kazi nzuri huku umri ukizidi kwenda.

Kuchelewa kwa wanawake kuolewa na kuwa na watoto pia kumechangiwa na makundi mengi yanayodai haki sawa kwa wote (feminist organisations), ambazo zinasisistiza kuwa mwanamke ana haki sawa na mwanaume na anaweza kufanya vile atakavyo kutimiza ndoto zake.


Wakati makundi haya yamewasaidia wanawake kujitambua na kusonga mbele, pia yamechangia katika kuongezeka kwa idadi ya wanawake wanaochelewa kuzaa na wanaotaka kulea watoto wenyewe bila msaada wa mwanaume.


Japo wanawake wengi, hasa katika nchi za magharibi, wameweza kuwa na watoto baadae katika maisha, wengine hadi miaka 40 na kuendelea, wataalamu bado wanashauri kuwa umri unaofaa kwa mwanamke kuzaa na kuwa na watoto wenye afya pamoja na kuwa na muda wa kutosha wa kulea watoto hao, ni kwanzia miaka 20 hadi 35. Zaidi ya hapo mtoto au mama anaweza kupata matatizo mbalimbali.




Matatizo yanayoweza kutokea kutokana na kuchelewa kuzaa au kuzaliwa

Wanawake wenye kubeba mimba wakiwa na umri zaidi ya miaka 35 wana hatari kubwa ya kupoteza mtoto au mimba kutoka (miscarriage).

Mfumo wa uzazi unakuwa umeanza kuchoka hivyo kubeba mimba kwa kuchelewa, hasa kuanzia miaka 36 na kuendelea kunaweza kuuchosha zaidi na kusababisha matatizo siku za mbele hasa katika ukuaji wa mimba.

Matatizo na hatari katika ubebaji mimba yanaweza kuzidi katika kipindi hiki (miaka 36 na kuendelea) kuliko kwa mama mwenye umri wa miaka 20 hadi 35.

Kuchelewa kuzaa pia kunaweza kusababisha kuzaliwa mtoto mwenye magonjwa na matatizo kiafya. Afya ya mama pia inaweza ikawa hatarini (hasa kwa magonjwa kama presha ya kupanda).

Kunaweza kuwa na matatizo wakati wa kujifungua kama vile kuwa na uchungu kwa muda mrefu kabla ya kuzaa, kuhitaji upasuaji au kuwa na uzazi mfu.

Ni vyema wanawake wakafanya maamuzi sahihi mapema na kuwahi kuwa na familia (kuzaa) ili kuepusha hatari kwao na kwa watoto wakati wa mimba na baada ya watoto kuzaliwa.
